PACQUIAO-BRADLEY PRESS CONFERENCE IN NYC
The highly anticipated June 9, 2012 clash between top ranked welterweight, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, and top ranked junior welterweight, Timothy “ Desert Storm” Bradley, is likely to be a hard-fought bout. The event will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Die hard boxing fans from the East Coast were treated with a special “open to the public” pre-fight promo tour at the Light House in Chelsea Piers, New York City last February 23. Pacquiao said that he admires Bradley’s ambition and self confidence in risking his undefeated record by moving up in weight to challenge him. The training Manny will undergo will hopefully bring victory and be another opportunity to bring honor and glory to the Philippines and his fellow Filipinos.

Filipina-Mexican-American Jessica Sanchez said she would be honored to sing the Philippine national anthem in a future bout of Pinoy boxing superstar Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao.
Sanchez, currently one of three finalists on “American Idol,” said she would love to sing the national anthem in a boxing match of the People’s Champ, who recently said he would like Sanchez to perform “Lupang Hinirang” in one of his future fights.
“I would love to [sing the national anthem], it would be an honor,” she said in an interview with GMA News on Thursday. “But right now I will have to concentrate on what is going on right now. Hopefully after the competition, I can do that.”
